Actress Kim Hyun-joo has been cast for the new upcoming SBS weekend mini series "Dummy Sister".

'E Daily Star In' was told by an SBS drama spokesperson, "Kim Hyun-joo is looking forward to signing a deal with the drama "Dummy Sister"".

"Dummy Sister" is based on an original by Choi Moon-jeong called "Dummy Mommy". It is about a mother with little intelligence and the conflict and reconciliation she experiences with her child. This drama will air after the conclusion of "Live in Style", which ends in March.

Kim Hyun-joo took on the role of Team Manager Han Jung-won in the MBC drama "Twinkle Twinkle", which ended last year.

A news just came out confirming Kim Hyun Joo for SBS Drama "Stupid Sister" (screenplay: Park Gye Ok, production: Lee Dong Hoon). This drama is based on a book published years ago. Kim Hyun Joo will take the lead role. So far there is no confirmed male lead yet.

Kim Hyun Joo made a successful comeback last year in MBC drama "Twinkle Twinkle." Like "Sungkyunkwan Scandal," this new drama is regarded as highly anticipated.

[NEWS] Kim Hyun Joo and Wang Bit Na to cast on MBN upcoming drama "For The Emperor"?

To clarify things up, here is the English news 

Actress Kim Hyun-joo and Wang Bit-na are looking at the MBN drama "For The Emperor".

"For The Emperor" is a romance that tells the story of the future wife of young and successful CEO Ma In-tak, who gets an inheritance of 10 billion won. Producer Han Cheol-soo from "9 End 2 Outs" and writer Do Hyeon-jeong from "Que Sera, Sera" have come together to work on this.

Kim Hyun-joo is Yoon Da-ran, a clerk in a department store customer care center who changes into a 'doenjang* girl' after her fiancé Woo-seok passes the judicial examinations.

Initially, Lee Seo-jin, Lee Min-jeong and Park Jin-hee were cast for "For The Emperor". The drama had trouble in confirming its broadcast status and fell through with MBC quicker than expected. The casting has been about 60-70% completed.

"For The Emperor" will be shown after "What's Up"

*I asked a friend what doenjang means.. Well, she said when you use it in a person, it can mean "that he/she exudes the inner qualities of Koreanness."

Kim Hyun Joo confesses about her kissing scene

HJ unni revealed something about her kissing scene in Strong Heart's special episode for tonight. Thanks to her lips the kissing scene did the story. Unni said that the kissing scene was easier and comfortable for her because of her lips.

If I am right, they were talking about her past drama "Into the Sunlight" with Cha Tae Hyun. I've also read a news before that Cha Tae Hyun's kissing scene with HJ unni was the most memorable.

Kim Hyun Joo's Documentary Narration, "The Voice Donations"

Kim Hyun Joo unni is still active with charity nowadays. She recently had a Narration on Channel A for the animals. This time, she will do another documentary narration with Good Neighbors for the poorest people of Africa, it includes Malawi's poor lighting and medical reality. 

The program is called "Sharing 0700 - Sharing Healthcare! To bring hope to Malawi." Sharing 0700 is the international relief and development NGO of Good Neighbors (Chairman Lee Il Ha, www.gni.kr) and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and still in progress. As a GN ambassador, Hyun Joo unni is planning to have a visit in Malawi to roll out direct service activities. Schedules will serve as a documentary than the usual with the story of those who volunteered.

Yeah! Strong Heart's Christmas Special is the best! I really had fun watching it and I'd like to watch it again and again. Three of my favorite stars were there (but since this is a KHJ fansite, let's talk about it somewhere else. Hahaha ^^). And the most important, Hyun Joo unni was there. She may only had a portion of the show, but I was really satisfied. =)

I love her reactions especially when Im Baek Cheon impersonated IU. Hehehe~

Unni's dance is funny and cute. And really love the moment when she sang the song "The Rain and You" by No Brain. She's very entertaining. You can tell that a lot of people love her.

Unni said a lot of things.. But there are some of it that I couldn't forget.

12 years ago when Yurisangja's hit song "To my bride" was released. By the way, Yurisangja is a male duo with members Park Seung Hwa and Lee Se Jun. They were formed in 1997. [2011.09.20] Today, an open press conference was held at the Seoul Press Center announcing the nominees of the Korea Drama Awards. The good news is, Kim Hyun Joo [MBC Drama "Twinkle Twinkle"] was nominated as Best Star of the Year (Women's Division) along with Gong Hyo Jin [MBC Drama "The Greatest  Love"], Park Min Young [KBS 2TV drama "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" and SBS drama "City Hunter"] and Ha Ji Won [SBS drama "Secret Garden"].

All of them are good actresses and they have shown remarkable performances in their respective dramas. In my own opinion, it sure is a tough competition. Our dear Hyun Joo did a very good job in "Twinkle Twinkle" and I think she deserves something worth all her hard work. I hope you support her all the way. =)

Lawsuit Update
